you thought WRONG!!!

I had a conversation with my almost 10 year old chicken the other day, it went a little something like this...

"Justin, I bought you an additional pair of snow pants, hat and gloves for you to keep at school."

"COOL!"

"I just thought it would be a few less things for you to remember everyday for school."

"COOL!"

So that was it. I being the "Mom o' faith in my chickens" thought to myself that this was the end of it. I had communicated what my intentions were for said extra snow pants, hat and gloves. Fast forward to this morning....

"Mom, I know the other chickens are sleeping but can I go in my room and get my gloves for school?"

"What?"

"My gloves, they are in my room."

"your 'home' gloves?"

"no, my 'school' gloves."

"why are your 'school' gloves in your room?"

"cause thats where I put them when I got home from school." He says with his "DUH Mom" look on his face.

"I understand that, but my question is why they are even in the house?"

"Cause I thought you would be mad if they were left in the car."

"Justin, why are your gloves that I told you to keep at school now at home?"

"Cause I thought you meant for me to bring them home everyday."
