Mother

I am no longer called "Mommy". I knew the transition would come but I thought it would be from "Mommy" to "Mom" most certainly not from "Mommy" to "Mother" and I also thought this transition would come from a MUCH older chicken. The other day Chicken number 4 came to me and said "Mother. Mother. I shall call you Mother. Cause you are my 'Mother May I?'." And as is the trend once the queen has spoken it shall happen. "So let it be written, so let it be done." So I am Mother now much to my dismay. I MUST remember to thank her teacher for playing 'Mother May I?' I really must.
