Kicking Me When I'm Down...

We took a nice little trip to the city last week and the chickens had great fun at my expense. Chickens 1 and 2 were on a roll with little pecks here and there at their super fun Mom. At one point Rebekah asked me where we were going when we were in the car and I turned to her and said "To Denver where I am appreciated." to that she replied "Mommy, sometime I want to go to Denver just you and me." so I looked at my two obnoxious chickens behind me and told Rebekah, "Okay, we'll do that. Just you and me, no other chickens but you." Brittany piped in, "I want to go too." and I looked at her in disbelief and said "you have not been very nice to me and you think I should reward you with a trip to Colorado?" "But I LOVE Memaw and Papa..." she said. Really? Really? That is the best you can do? That's not even buttering me up!! That's kicking me while I am down!!! Guess who WONT be going to Denver!! Oh yea, I went there.
